This just broke less than an hour ago: it has been confirmed that the forensics on Casey Anthony’s car came back and that there was, indeed, a decomposing human body in the car. Nope Cindy—your dead granddaughter is not “rotten pizza” after all. (See also this news blurb.)
Ok. Up until now, I’ve kept my own blog shut regarding the Casey / Caylee Anthony circus that’s been unfolding for the past month or so down in Florida. Sure, I’ve been fairly active on sites like MissingAbducted, ScaredMonkeys, and The Dreamin’ Demon, but I’ve refrained from posting anything of my own regarding the case on this blog.
That time has come to an end, because now I just cannot shut my mouth anymore. Why? Because today, Leonard Padilla, the media whore bounty hunter who bailed mother of the year candidate Casey Anthony out of jail, stated to a reporter that, in light of what he now knows, bailing her out was ‘a mistake.’
A mistake? Kind of like either killing your own child or covering up her accidental death would be “a mistake”?
What really blows my mind is Padilla’s insistence that he “wasn’t aware” of the information about Casey Anthony—namely that her abandoned car was found smelling like “dead body” (in the words of Anthony’s own mother, Cindy); that Casey borrowed a neighbor’s shovel shortly after the time that Caylee was last seen alive by anyone; and that Casey has systematically lied to friends, family, and investigators for over a month about her job, her activities, her whereabouts, and even the existence of an alleged babysitter (”Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez”—who authorities have all but proven does not exist, except in Casey’s imagination) on whom she has been blaming Caylee’s “mysterious” disappearance. All of this information, as Florida’s Local6 notes in its article, has been freely available to the public and widely circulating on the internet for weeks.
How is it possible that Padilla “wasn’t aware” of it? Was he as deeply in denial as the entire Anthony family appears to be? Cindy has had her fleeting moments of honesty—such as the “dead body” comment on the 911 call and her warning to one of Casey’s friends that Casey was a “sociopath,” but she seems to have gotten over that rather quickly and is now insisting that the “dead body” smell in the car came from “rotten pizza” and that she “believes” her daughter Casey. Can someone please hand me a puke bag? Thanks. (Note that the “rotten pizza” theory has been repeatedly debunked by one of the Florida news stations. See, for example: this report.)
All of the evidence released thus far (including video / audio of Casey’s jail conversations, 911 calls, over 400 pages of case documents, screen shots and printouts from Casey and Cindy Anthony’s MySpace pages, witness statements, CCTV footage, etc. strongly suggests either one of two scenarios: a.) Caylee Anthony died accidentally due to neglect by Casey (for example, by drowning in the pool or by being locked in a hot car for too long), and Casey panicked and subsequently attempted to cover up the death and bury or burn the body, or b.) Casey Anthony murdered her daughter Caylee, probably in a fit of rage (i.e. - not premeditated) and then buried, burned, or dumped the body.
What is clear to everyone (except Padilla, of course) is that Casey’s sole concern now is protecting her own ass from prosecution. Meanwhile, the corpse of her toddler daughter continues to rot in some undisclosed location. Lovely.

Well it has finally come out…..this woman is as crazy as they come and of course she killed that poor little girl. The bounty hunter was nothing but a glory seeker and wanted whatever publicity he could get from this story. The grandparents were just about as crazy as their daughter for allowing their grandchild to be out of their sight as long as they did, my God they knew th kind of Girl their daughter was and therefore should have kept a closer eye on the baby…hell I wouldnt have trusted her to keep the baby overnight much less a month without seeing for myself that she was alright…and so there is a lot of people that can share in the guilt about what happened to poor little CAYLEE…….Now I can hope that this so called mother will at least tell the truth for once in her life and tell where the body of Caylee is so that she can at least have a decent burial and rest in peace..which is something I for one hope the mother never has again……..Put her back in the jail where she belongs and let her sit there with the thought s of that poor little girl for the rest of her life….

This woman is a Narcissitic Personality Disorder/ Sociopath. She exhibits all the signs. They care about no one but themselves and are very manipulative. My husbands ex-wife is one and so is his mother. Together they are a destrutive force. We have to deal with the ex-wife to a certain extent because they unfortunately share a child…who she uses as a pawn on every possible occasion. Casey’s mother (the grandmother Cindy) is one too. Don’t think she is normal.
My husband’s mother is a somatic Narcissist like Caylee..they are often attractive and use their beauty to manipulate others. They will sleep with ANYONE. Caylee slept with that police officer (which was revealed). I guarantee she slept with Padilla for getting her out of jail, and is sleeping with her attorney Baez (his nose seeems wide open).
My husbands ex-wife is not attractive and is a cerebral Narcissist - they can’t use their looks so they use their “brains” to manipulate. They are often extremely intelligent and can access weaknesses in the people they aim to destroy or manipulate almost instantly.
These people are diabolical, relentless, and persistent. They will destroy. The only thing a normal person can do is to remove themselves from their path. They cannot be stopped…they only thing you can hope for is that they somehow self-destruct (like Casey).
Still, I guarantee Casey will either get off or only be charged with manslaughter and get a few years fro this heinous crime…they have a way of skirting the Law.
They usually come in pairs and feed off of each other’s diabolical agendas (Cindy and Casey). Anyone in their path will be destroyed often psychologically but sometimes (as in this case) physically.
I hope she frys for doing this to this poor cute little girl. But often, because they are so evil and such liars they are able to avoid the law or due justice.
